To Write Love on Her Arms is a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide. TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire and also to invest directly into treatment and recovery.

To Write Love On Her Arms Day is a day where anyone can write the words love on their arms, to support those who are fighting against depression and those who are trying to recovering.

The vision is that we actually believe these things…

You were created to love and be loved. You were meant to live life in relationship with other people, to know and be known. You need to know that your story is important and that you're part of a bigger story. You need to know that your life matters.

We live in a difficult world, a broken world. My friend Byron is very smart - he says that life is hard for most people most of the time. We believe that everyone can relate to pain, that all of us live with questions, and all of us get stuck in moments. You need to know that you're not alone in the places you feel stuck.

We all wake to the human condition. We wake to mystery and beauty but also to tragedy and loss. Millions of people live with problems of pain. Millions of homes are filled with questions – moments and seasons and cycles that come as thieves and aim to stay. We know that pain is very real. It is our privilege to suggest that hope is real, and that help is real.

You need to know that rescue is possible, that freedom is possible, that God is still in the business of redemption. We're seeing it happen. We're seeing lives change as people get the help they need. People sitting across from a counselor for the first time. People stepping into treatment. In desperate moments, people calling a suicide hotline. We know that the first step to recovery is the hardest to take. We want to say here that it's worth it, that your life is worth fighting for, that it's possible to change.

Beyond treatment, we believe that community is essential, that people need other people, that we were never meant to do life alone.

The vision is that community and hope and help would replace secrets and silence.

The vision is people putting down guns and blades and bottles.

The vision is that we can reduce the suicide rate in America and around the world.

The vision is that we would learn what it means to love our friends, and that we would love ourselves enough to get the help we need.

The vision is better endings. The vision is the restoration of broken families and broken relationships. The vision is people finding life, finding freedom, finding love. The vision is graduation, a Super Bowl, a wedding, a child, a sunrise. The vision is people becoming incredible parents, people breaking cycles, making change.

The vision is the possibility that your best days are ahead.

The vision is the possibility that we're more loved than we'll ever know.

The vision is hope, and hope is real.

You are not alone, and this is not the end of your story.

They were just kidding, but it got me thinking. I'm getting into blogging, I like writing, I like pointing out faults (not just in movies lol), and I like watching movies. So here I am today. I'm going to be writing reviews in the best place I know - the internet.

The thing is, I don't know where to start. I've joined moviefilmreview.com and I've been researching other critics, but there's not much information on how to get started. I decided blogging is okay until my name gets out there. If you have any advice, tips, comments, or feedback don't hesitate to contact me. Also, I'm currently debating which movie I should use for my review. Any ideas? Maybe a classic like Fight Club or The Notebook? Or a new movie? It's a work in process.

I never knew what the point in Halloween was or how it got turned into such a secular holiday or why people get so into it, but it's still fun. One can dress as an inflatable cow and it doesn't even phase anyone. Also, girls can use this as a rare occasion to dress slutty, and get away with it.

Out of tradition, we were carving pumpkins the other day - I made a cat. There was an accident, and my whole finger got cut open. I took a picture of it after the bleeding stopped.

The Vikings are doing phenomenal this year. They have strong players and some nice leadership (finally). Or are they only doing well because they've faced sucky teams? I mean, look at the other teams records: 0-7, 1-5, etc., etc. Then they face an actually tough team and get creamed. Don't get me wrong, they put up a good fight, but come on. The 4th quarter with the Steelers was pathetic.

The MN line up this year is very solid. Jared Allen hustles like none other (btw, nothing hurts worse than taking it in the sack rodgers! Better watch out!). Harvin the rookie dominates the special teams. It's like Sydney Rice has glue on his hands. And Peterson, well he's a freakin freight train. All these outstanding players and Favre still gets all the attention. Why? Because he's old!

I find it funny, though, some previously GB fans were only fans of #4 so now they're wearing purple instead of cheese. This blog may be a little biased because I show my horns myself, but I think most of you will agree with what's been said. Also, you will agree when I say the cheeseheads are going down again!

I think i might. I'm not really a fan of Michael, or what he might have done, but he was one heck of a dancer. I find it kind of ironic that he died during his "This Is It" tour ha. Watch it here live on the red carpet:

Except everyone is always (still) making fun of him and saying he raped little boys and junk and that just frustrates me. He was just such a nice guy, even if a little out there. Plus, he's the biggest pop sensation of all time. I tell those doubters that once they sell a billion thriller albums, then they can bleach their skin and get away with it.
